Why does Minerva need funds?

Minerva needs your support to advance projects that improve Safety Management Education and encourage Colleges and Universities to teach it.

Minerva is constantly seeking ways to establish safety management education in the core curricula of engineering and business faculties. We do this by:

• Developing high quality educational materials


• Training academic staff in loss control management


• Making presentations to key influencers


• Conducting safety contests for Engineering and Business students


• Facilitating use of industry subject matter experts to teach Health and Safety to university students

These projects all require substantial expenditures and are critical to our educational goal.At present projects cannot pursued until funding is available. Many good ideas cannot be completed and are waiting for your support! You can suggest and "adopt" a case study or project of your choice.

With more funds Minerva could accomplish more work, host more annual Summer Institutes and at a faster pace. With the right amount of annual funding we could set more aggressive  timelines for the completion of our goal in each jurisdiction.
